No special title for killing him (that was just the Adventurer title). You get 65 glory and turn his horn in to get a cape.

Sadly, the horn is all Xerthral drops. It was underwhelming. The Bandit Officer is actually more challenging and they have locker chests with goods and a ton of mats in their Bandit Keep. Just don't go in their alone on a F2P lol.
